Default Pregnant Ladies' Ride is on the schedule!

We'll be meeting at Clever Cycles, June 16th at 11 am (that's a Sunday). Pregnant women, new moms, dads and dads-to-be (if they bring their pregnant partners or a child, or wear a pillow under their shirts) also welcome.

After thinking it over, we've decided what pregnant women need to know most is how to keep pedaling when they have a little one. We've asked Katie Proctor with Kidical Mass to do a short workshop on how to keep even small children safe while riding. Get realistic information about the safety of riding with an infant or toddler and how you might outfit your own set of wheels to welcome your new addition on board. We'll start with that, and then do a mini tour of the small parks with playgrounds in the neighborhood.

On June 16th, I will be 7 months pregnant, and as the ride leader you can imagine, the ride won't be going very fast. Parents are encouraged to bring children, and we'll finish up at some ice cream or dessert place.

BYOP (Bring your own pickles)

Any help getting the word out is much appreciated!
