McKenzie Pass is open now
I got word today that the McKenzie Pass is now open. So, I'm riding it Sunday. Can anyone tell me where the best place to start would be? Thanks

Anyone know the condition of McKenzie Pass? Lots of snow? A little snow? This year is the year I ride that when bikes can safely get to Sisters.

My daughter will be moving to The Dalles. So, of course, that'll be my new route. Will the Old Gorge Hwy take me to The Dalles? I'm guessing the earliest I'll be able to ride it is this coming...

REI Bike Tour
Has anyone ever taken an REI bike tour? I took one with Trek this last summer and loved it. REI has one that looks good. The price is less than Trek's. Any comments? Thanks

Ron, when you went over Nestucca Pass, did you encounter the mile or so of gravel that is after that park on the westside of the mountain? I've gone over Meadow Lake to Beaver, but won't go any more...

Thanks, I've done that route. Very pretty and fairly quiet. My riding partner and I were looking for something new. Too bad there aren't many ways to go to Seaside like there are to Pacific City.
