Bike cars
Tri-met shpuld have a small cargo/bike car between the two passenger cars....People with bike's and pet owners could use the middle car. Even bikes with trailers, could fit...........:)

After ride glow.
So if you looked but didn't or couldn't go we(6 of us) did about 50-51 miles from Waterfront and back....I did 64 miles from my door and back.
Perfect day to ride......:D

Update...
Just a update on the ride, there were five of us total. About 43-44 miles, after the transit center we kept on the 205 path,,,then 92nd down to the springwater, then downtown.
The rain held out...

I ride 48-16, wouldnt want to spin any faster going down hills. It gives you a nice cruising speed 18-22. Ok some hills are a pain in the ass, like Mt Tabor. Now thats good fun....:D

underwear has NO place under a chamois!!!
There is a big difference between "spandex" shorts or tights and Bike shorts.
If it has a chamois, why use underwear? If your thinking just spandex, no pad? Then yea wear some underwear.

Ok I think Vancouver helmet law is in effect, I don't want a ticket, so any ideas? Along Marine drive out to Troutdale? The idea of going out on the Max is good, but takes up riding time and money....

I was thinking of going up Williams to Jantzen Beach, Vancouver I-5 to 205, then along the Columbia Via the Marine Drive path. Did this once before, just not sure when the mandatory helmet law...
