I rode from Sisters to the pass and back last...

I rode from Sisters to the pass and back last Sunday and can happily report that there was no lake in the road on that side. Clear sailing and a beautiful day, but a wee bit windy at the top.

Replace the Brake Cable

You might want to check for a partially broken frayed cable catching on an entry point into the cable housing. Just a broken strand or two might cause symptoms like you describe.
