Bald Mt. Road and Bible Creek

It looks like I'll be biking this route from Beaverton on Labor Day weekend. I've gone through Carlton to get to Pacific City before, but not on Bible Creek and Bald Mt. Road. As you're heading west out of Carlton, will Bald Mt. Road and Bible Creek be marked so I know when get to them?

Thanks

Are you coming from Nestucca River Rd? There is a decent sign marking Bible Creek Rd. Until yesterday Nestucca was closed and Bible Creek was the detour to the coast, and there was a big orange sign at Bible Creek informing traffic, so if it's still up, it's an easy spot. It's just past the crest of the coastal range, and though I haven't done it, it's apparently a big ol' climb, so bring lots of water.

I just came through there yesterday up the Nestucca and there is no sign that says "Bald Mt. Rd." - but it's the only paved road heading southward off the Nestucca Rd. from anywhere near the crest, so that must be it, i should think. Bible Creek is signed.

Oh, and the Nestucca River is eminently passable, despite the signs saying it's closed until Aug 28th. Just some culvert work, almost done, they'd probably even let you through if you came by on a workday.

Made for a great ride yesterday, with virtually no traffic.

Jeff and Lovedoctor (can I call you Mr. Doctor?),

Thanks, that's the information I was looking for. I think I may take a drive up that way before I go on the roads. I don't really want to get lost on the way to the beach. I may even mark Bald Mt. myself so I won't forget.

Thanks again.

there's also this fabulous map, since you were concerned about navigation - see the Green Route:
