How bad is Gibbs/Marquam Hill road...
 

...incline-wise?

I'm looking for a good route to get from North Beaverton to OHSU. One that works both ways, in the dark. I've been contemplating US26 bike path>Raab>Hewett>Patton>Talbot>Fairmount>Marquam Hill>Gibbs, but I've only been as far as Fairmount in the past. Is Marquam Hill Rd just fuhggettaboudit steep? It seems like all other routes (e.g., via Washington Park to the N, or via Beaverton-Hillsdale to the S) go so far out of the way.

I've ridden up Marquam Hill/Gibbs a few times and it has an incline, but nothing significantly more than any of the other approaches going up to the Fairmont loop.

Not sure which roads I took to get to Fairmont but the climb wasn't too bad coming out of Portland riding my recumbent trike.
